  • Workshop:  Safe Management of Nanowaste -- May 9-11, 2012.  The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and Germany's Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) will hold the workshop.  Interested persons should contact BIAC by April 11, 2012. Participation will be subject to confirmation, and interested persons should wait for formal confirmation before making travel arrangements.

  • Workshop: Challenges and Opportunities for Businesses Engaged in Nanotechnology -- September 25, 2012, UCLA California NanoSystems Institute, Los Angeles, California.  Sponsored by the California Nano Industry Network.  Hosted by the University of California Center for Environmental Implications of Nanotechnology.  Registration opens on May 15, 2012.

  • "Safe Nano Design: Molecule >> Manufacturing >> Market" - Workshop sponsored by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Prevention through Design Program and Nanotechnology Research Center - August 14-16, 2012.  College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering of the University at Albany, Albany, NY.

  • International Symposium on Assessing the Economic Impact of Nanotechnology  - March 27-28, 2012.  The American Association for the Advancement of Science will host the symposium in Washington, DC.  The Working Party on Nanotechnology (WPN) of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), in collaboration with the U.S. National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI), organized the symposium. 

  • Webinar - "The Greening of Consumer Products: Legal, Regulatory, and Strategic Considerations" - February 7, 2012.   The agenda and registration information for this 90-minute webinar can be found online.

  • 4th Annual Nanotech Commercialization Conference - April 4-5, 2012, Durham, NC.  Co-hosted by the NanoBusiness Commercialization Association, the N.C. Department of Commerce, and the Center of Innovation for Nanobiotechnology.  For additional information, visit the conference website.
